REMOVAL
1. Disconnect CPS wiring harness at steering plate (WP 0098, REMOVAL, Step 1).
2. Remove two screws (Figure 1, Item 9) securing CPS dome light cover (Figure 1, Item 10) to CPS cab and
allow dome light cover to hang by switch wires carefully.
NOTE
If dome light cover is only being opened to provide access, allow dome light cover to hang
by switch wires carefully.

If only replacing bulb, remove and replace bulb, proceed to Step 6, if removing CPS dome light ixture
(Figure 1, Item 7), go to next step.
4.
Cut power supply wire (Figure 1, Item 11) on dome light side of splice (Figure 1, Item 5) at least 0.5 inch
above splice and cover exposed end of wire on splice side.
5.
Remove bolt (Figure 1, Item 8), nut (Figure 1, Item 2), and ground wire (Figure 1, Item 1) from aft end of
CPS dome light ixture (Figure 1, Item 7).
6.
Pull ground wire (Figure 1, Item 1) and CPS dome light power supply wire (Figure 1, Item 11) out
pass-through hole and remove CPS dome light cover (Figure 1, Item 10).
7.
Remove bolt (Figure 1, Item 8) and nut (Figure 1, Item 2) from forward end of CPS dome light ixture
(Figure 1, Item 7) and remove ixture.

INSTALLATION
1. Place CPS dome light ixture (Figure 1, Item 7) in position and install bolt (Figure 1, Item 8) and nut
(Figure 1, Item 2) in forward end of ixture.
