INSPECTION OF INSTALLED ITEMS
Visibly inspect heater assembly, hoses, and cables for mount secruity, connections, and leaks.
END OF TASK
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect CPS wiring harness at steering plate (WP 0098, REMOVAL, Step 1).
2. Remove heater hose cover (WP 0103, Removal, Steps 18).
3. Disconnect black (outlet) hose (Figure 1, Item 1) of heater assembly by depressing release button on coupler
itting (Figure 1, Item 9) on heater hose mounting bracket assembly (Figure 1, Item 6) and install attached
protective cap (Figure 1, Item 10) to end of hose.
4. Disconnect red (inlet) hose (Figure 1, Item 2) of heater assembly by depressing release button on coupler
itting (Figure 1, Item 5) on heater hose mounting bracket assembly (Figure 1, Item 6) and install attached
protective cap (Figure 1, Item 10) to end of hose.
5. Remove tie-straps securing cable assembly to hoses.
6. Disconnect heater assembly cable (Figure 1, Item 3) from heater assembly power supply cable
(Figure 1, Item 4).

Remove cab fan/dome light power supply wire (PIN #1) from heater assembly cable connector (WP 0112).
