Remove four bolts (Figure 2, Item 1), four lock washers (Figure 2, Item 2), and four washers (Figure 2, Item
3) from aft end of driver and passenger sides of heater assembly (Figure 2, Item 6) and remove heater
assembly (Figure 2, Item 6), hoses (Figure 2, Item 4 and 9), and heater assembly cable (Figure 2, Item 7).

DISASSEMBLY
WARNING
The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required when using or handling hazardous
materials associated with operating and maintaining equipment (jet fuel, hydraulic luid, brake
luid, ethylene glycol, cleaning solvents, compressed air, and engine/axle oil). Failure to use
PPE when handling these materials could result in injury or death.
1.
Drain both hoses (Figure 2, Item 4 and 9) and heater assembly (Figure 2, Item 6) into a suitable container
by holding open quick disconnect ends of hoses.
2.
Remove hose clamps (Figure 2, Item 5 and 8) from upper ends of hoses (Figure 2, Item 4 and 9) and
remove from heater assembly (Figure 2, Item 6).
END OF TASK
ASSEMBLY
1. Install black (outlet) hose (Figure 2, Item 9) to upper passenger side itting of heater assembly using hose
clamp (Figure 2, Item 8).
2. Install red (inlet) hose (Figure 2, Item 4) to lower passenger side itting of heater assembly using hose
clamp (Figure 2, Item 5).
