4-12. DAY SENSOR SUBASSEMBLY REPAIR (cont)
7. POWER REACTOR ASSEMBLY A21
REMOVAL
a. Cut lacing and tying tape (1) and
disconnect connector A21J1 (2) from
1A5W1P17.
b. Cut lacing and tying tape securing power
reactor assembly A21 wires (3) to wire
bundle (4).
c. Remove power reactor assembly A21 (5)
by removing screw (6) and washer (7).
INSTALLATION
d. Remove old corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound from mounting hardware
(para 2-6).
e. Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to mounting hardware
(para 2-6). Use class 1A application.
f. Install power reactor assembly A21 (5)
using screw (6) and washer (7).
g. Install lacing and tying tape as required to
secure power reactor assembly A2 wires
(3) to wire bundle (4).
h. Connect connector A21J1 (2) to connector
1A5W1P17.
i. Secure connectors with lacing and tying
tape (1).
j. Have installation inspected.
