GENERAL
This section provides information useful in diagnosis and correction, inspection, operation, or failure of the main-
tenance platform, or any of its components. Each trouble symptom stated is followed by a list of probable causes
of the trouble. The possible remedy recommended is described below the probable cause.
TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE
MAINTENANCE PLATFORM
SYMPTOM
Platform will not rise or rises slowly.
MALFUNCTION
High pressure hose leaks.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace high pressure hose (WP 0020 00).
MALFUNCTION
By-pass valve sticking (will not fully open).
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Clean valve of obstructing foreign material (WP 0017 00).
SYMPTOM
Platform will not lower or lowers slowly.
MALFUNCTION
Piston packing ruptured.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace piston packing (WP 0021 00).
MALFUNCTION
By-pass valve sticking (will not fully close).
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Clean valve of obstructing foreign material (WP 0017 00).
MALFUNCTION
High pressure hose leaking.

Replace high pressure hose (WP 0020 00).
