SYMPTOM
Hydraulic cylinder sticks at fully extended position.
MALFUNCTION
Piston extended too far and riding on inner cylinder wall.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Remove safety-lock, open by-pass valve, and jar upper structure down until piston is released.
HAND PUMP
SYMPTOM
Hand pump fails to operate.
MALFUNCTION
Pump piston or cylinder scored or scratched.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace a defective piston or cylinder (WP 0015 00).
MALFUNCTION
Ballsprings weak or broken.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace a defective ballspring (WP 0015 00).
