Sand the area smooth with 180 grit
abrasive paper. Vacuum sanding
dust from repair area. Wipe with
clean, dry wiping cloth to remove
sanding residue.
Apply inish system in accordance

with paragraph 7-13b or the system
speciic technical manual.
c. Trailing Edge Repair. This repair is applicable
to structure consisting of composite skins bonded
to composite ribs with damage to the trailing edge
corner of the assembly. The procedure provided is
for a trailing edge corner repair but is also applicable
to a full trailing edge. This repair procedure is
not necessarily applicable to a particular weapon
system. The applicability of this repair depends
upon additional factors such as loading conditions
and laminate thickness. Consult the system speciic
technical manual or engineering for further guidance.
