INSTALLATION
g. Clean bond area (7) of control panel
assembly by scraping with knife.
h. Install night filter assembly (6).
i.
Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to spring pin (5) (para 2-
6). Use class 1 application.
j.
Install spring pin (5).
k. Move night filter assembly to down position
(2).
l.
Apply adhesive sealing compound to
shock pad cut (4) and bondline cut (8) of
upper half of shock pad (3) and control
panel (7).
m. Position upper half of shock pad (3) on the
control panel assembly (9).
n. Position night filter assembly (6) to both Up
and down (2) positions Ensure night filter
assembly moves freely.
o. Tape upper half of shock pad (3) to control
panel assembly (9).
p. Cure for 24 hours at 67 to 87°F. Remove
tape after curing.
q. Have installation inspected.
