16. TERMINAL LUG E1 REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL
a. Remove screw (1), two washers (2),
terminal lug (3), washer (4), lockwasher (5),
and nut (6) from control panel assembly (7).
INSTALLATION
b. Remove old corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound from hardware (para
2-6).
c. Replace terminal lug (para 2-5).
d. Prepare control panel assembly (7) for
electrical bonding (para 2-7).
e. Install terminal lug (3), screw (1), two
washers (2), washer (4), Iockwasher (5),
and nut (6) on control panel assembly (7).
f. Have installation inspected.
g. Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to terminal lug (3) aid
hardware with a small brush (para 2-6).
Use class 2 application.
NOTE
Control panel assembly may be handled after
8 hours.
