15. CONNECTOR J3 CONTACT
REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL
a. Disconnect connector (1) by removing two
screwlocks (2), four washers (3), two
lockwashers (4), and nuts (5).
b. Tag wires.
c. Remove faulty contacts from connector J3
(1) (para 2-5).
d. Remove old corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound from hardware (para
2-6).
INSTALLATION
e. Install replacement contacts on connector
J3 (1) (para 2-5).
f. Remove tags.
g. Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to hardware (para 2-6).
Use class 1A application.
h. Install connector (1) on control panel
assembly (6) using two screwlocks (2), four
washers (3), two lockwashers (4), and nuts
(5).
i. Have installation inspected.
