4-9. BRANCHED WIRING HARNESS ASSEMBLY (W10) REPAIR (cont)
f. Remove old corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound from mounting hardware
(para 2-6).
g. Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to mounting hardware
(para 2-6). Use class 1A application.
NOTE
Two people required to perform steps h thru k.
h. While manually supporting scanner optics
assembly (8), remove four capscrews (9)
and washers (8). (Use hex key T1 to
remove lower right-hand screw.) Carefully
move scanner optics assembly (4) up and
out to install screw (10).
i. Connect connector P13 (11) to connector
A32RT1J1 and secure with screw (10).
j. Secure scanner optics assembly (4) by
installing four capscrews (8) and washers
(9). (Use hex key T1 to install lower right-
hand screw.)
k. Connect connector P3 (5) to scanner optics
assembly connector A32J1 (6) and secure
by tightening two screwlocks (7).
l. Install loop clamp (3), screw (1), and
washer (2) on scanner optics assembly (4).
