CAUTION
Seal and elevation bearing shim must be
handled with care to prevent bending or
crimping.

Install elevation bearing shim (28) over
dowel pins (29) on inner gimbal assembly
mounting flange (30).
NOTE
A second person is needed to hold the seal in
place until just before the day sensor shroud
support assembly is positioned for installation.
k. Install seal (27) with open side to bearings
on inner gimbal elevation bearing recess
(31). Ensure that elevation bearing shim
(28) stays in place while installing seal.
