CAUTION
Night sensor shroud support assembly screws
must be torqued in the order indicated (circled
numbers) to prevent damage to seal.
q. Starting at mounting position 1, torque each
screw in order illustrated to 40 in-lb.
r. Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to two screwlock posts
(11) (para 2-6). Use class 1A application.
s. Install connector J2 (6) on shroud support
assembly bracket (7) with two screwlock
posts (11), four washers (10), two lock-
washers (9), and nuts (8).
t. Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to two screwlock posts
(17) (para 2-6). Use class 1A application.
u. Install connector J5 (12) on shroud support
assembly bracket (13) with two screwlock
posts (17), four washers (16), two
lockwashers (15), and nuts (14).
v. Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to completely cover
bonding straps (29) mounting hardware
(para 2-6). Use class 2 application.
w. Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to elevation drive gear
access plate (3) and three screws (4) (para
2-6). Use class 1A application.
x. Install elevation drive gear access plate (3)
with three screws (4).
