NOTE
Before reinstalling the fuel ilter and fuel/water separator the maintainer should ill the fuel
ilter and fuel/water separator housing with fuel. This action will assist during fuel system
bleeding operation.

REMOVAL
FUEL FILTER
NOTE
Do not remove ilter unless replacement ilter is available.

Disconnect battery chassis negative cable (WP 0111).
3.
Open engine cover (WP 0028).
4.
Place a drip pan or suitable container under the ilter cartridge.
5.
Using the ilter wrench, remove fuel ilter (Figure 1, Item 1) drain and properly dispose of the ilter.
6.
Wipe clean ilter mating surface.
