OVERFLOW BOTTLE - (CONTINUED)
WARNING
The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required when using or handling hazardous
materials associated with operating and maintaining equipment (jet fuel, hydraulic luid, brake
luid, ethylene glycol, cleaning solvents, compressed air, and engine/axle oil). Failure to use
PPE when handling these materials could result in injury or death.
1.
Open engine cover (WP 0028).
2.
Disconnect overlow hose (Figure 1, Item 1).
3.
Slide overlow bottle (Figure 1, Item 3) off of bracket (Figure 1, Item 4).
NOTE
Drain coolant from overlow bottle into a drip pan.
4.
Disconnect bottom overlow bottle service hose (not shown).
5.
Remove overlow bottle (Figure 1, Item 3).
END OF TASK
INSTALLATION
1. Slide overlow bottle on mount bracket (Figure 1, Item 4).
2. Connect overlow hose (Figure 1, Item 1).
3. Connect bottom overlow bottle service hose (not shown).
4. Service cooling system (WP 0053).
5. Perform Maintenance Operation Check.
6. Close engine cover (WP 0028).
