TEST/INSPECTION
Oil Pressure Sending Unit Continuity Test
NOTE
Inspect sender wiring and mounting for damage affecting serviceability.
1.
Disconnect battery negative cables (WP 0111).
2.
Remove nut (Figure 1, Item 4) and wire (Figure 1, Item 1) from sending unit stud (Figure 1, Item 3).
3.
Ohms check from oil pressure sending unit stud (Figure 1, Item 3) to ground.
4.
Resistance measured shall be 33 to 240 ohms.
5.
Replace oil pressure sending unit if continuity test fails.
