4-42. TADS POWER SUPPLY ASSEMBLY REPAIR (cont)
NOTE
Do not apply primer to RFI gasket.
f. Apply conducting silicone primer (para 2-6)
to cover groove (2) as thinly as possible.
g. Apply conducting silicone adhesive to cover
groove (2) approximately every 1 1/2
inches (para 2-6).
h. Install RFI gasket (1) to cover groove (2)
and apply conducting silicone adhesive to
cut ends (3) and seat splice joint (4) in
cover groove (2) (para 2-6).
i. Maintain sufficient pressure to keep
bonding surfaces in contact throughout
curing.
NOTE
Cover may be handled after 24 hours.
j. Cure for 48 hours at 77 ± 10° F (para 2-6).
k. Install access cover (1 above).
