4-42. TADS POWER SUPPLY ASSEMBLY REPAIR (cont)
7. COVER REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL
a. Remove access cover (1 above).
NOTE
Plastic cover is bonded to TADS power supply
assembly with liquid adhesive and may have
to be cut off.
b. Remove damaged cover (1) from TADS
power supply assembly (2).
INSTALLATION
c. Remove old liquid adhesive from TADS
power supply assembly mounting area (3)
(para 2-6).
WARNING
ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL
• Flammable, toxic, irritating. Can cause
breathing problems, eye damage.
• Don’t: Use near flames or sparks, let it get in
eyes, or breathe vapors.
• Do: Use in well-ventilated area, close
containers when not using. Wear acid-type
safety goggles, rubber gloves, and rubber
apron.
• If it contacts eyes, wash eyes with running
water. get medical help at once.
• If you experience any breathing problems,
get to fresh air at once.
d. Clean new cover (1) with cloth and
isopropyl alcohol.
e. Apply liquid adhesive (para 2-6) to cover (1)
and mounting area (3) of TADS power
supply assembly (2) and install cover (1).
f. Install access cover (1 above).
