7. ELEVATION LIMIT SWITCH ACTUATOR
REPLACEMENT
NOTE
This procedure is for replacing the upper or
lower elevation limit switch actuator.
REMOVAL
a. Remove actuator (1) from inner gimbal by
removing two screws (2) and washers (3).
INSTALLATION
b. Remove old corrosion Inhibitive sealing and
coating compound from screws (2) (para
2-6).
NOTE
Do not apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound at this time.
c. Install actuator (1) using two screws (2) and
washers (3). Do not tighten.
d. Perform follow up.
