c. Position meter M2 (5) to allow removal of
silicone adhesive from rear of meter.
d. Cut molding sealing compound from rear of
meter M2 (5) (para 2-6).
e. Tag and unsolder wires (10) from meter M2
(5).
INSTALLATION
f. Remove old corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound from mounting threads
in turret assembly and from bracket
mounting surface (para 2-6).
g. Remove old corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound from all mounting
hardware (para 2-6).
h. Solder wires (10) to meter M2 (5). Remove
tags.
i. Apply thin brush coat of RTV silicone
adhesive-sealant primer to rear of meter
M2 (5) (para 2-6), and soldered
connections.
j. Allow primer to dry 1 hour minimum to 6
hours maximum at 67° to 87°F.
k. Prepare meter M2 (5) for potting by
constructing a teflon tape (11) mold around
rear of meter M2, adhesive side out, (5) for
a maximum potting depth of 1/4-inch.
