2. PREAMPLIFIER COVER ASSEMBLY A36
VANEAXIAL FAN B1 REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL
a. Remove preamplifier cover (1 above).
b. Tag and unsolder four wires (1) from
vaneaxial fan A36B1 (2).
c. Remove vaneaxial fan A36B1 (2) by
removing three socket head capscrews (3),
nuts (4), lockwashers (5), and six washers
(6).
INSTALLATION
d. Remove old corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound from mounting hardware
(para 2-6).
e. Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to mounting hardware
(para 2-6). Use class 1A application.
CAUTION
Ensure fan is installed properly. Improper
installation can cause damage to the
equipment.
f. Install vaneaxial fan A36B1 (2), with airflow
arrow (7) pointing up, using three socket
head capscrews (3), nuts (4), lockwashers
(5), and six washers (6).
g. Solder four wires (1) to vaneaxial fan B1 (2)
and remove tags.
h. Have installation inspected.
i. Install preamplifier cover (1 above).
