3. Inspect wiper motor for security, harness connection, and loose or missing hardware.

REMOVAL
2. Disconnect CPS wiring harness (Figure 1, Item 4) from wiper motor connector (Figure 1, Item 4).
3. Remove tie-strap securing washer tubing to wiper motor assembly.
5. Remove rubber boot (Figure 1, Item 1) and jam nut (Figure 1, Item 2) securing wiper motor shaft to CPS cab.
CAUTION
Prior to removal of screws, ensure additional personnel is supporting wiper motor assembly
inside cab to prevent damage to equipment.
6.
Remove two allen head screws (Figure 1, Item 8) and two washers (Figure 1, Item 7) on exterior securing
wiper motor assembly (Figure 1, Item 3) to CPS cab.
CAUTION
Ensure wiper arm link is not bent when pulling wiper motor assembly out to gain access
to retaining clip.
7.
Remove retaining clip (Figure 1, Item 6) securing wiper arm link (Figure 1, Item 3) to wiper motor assembly
(Figure 1, Item 5).
8.
Remove wiper motor assembly (Figure 1, Item 5).
