NOTE
All procedures are the same for both driver and passenger side.
INSPECTION OF INSTALLED ITEMS
Inspect wiper blades and arms for security and condition.
END OF TASK
REMOVAL
Wiper Blade Assembly
1.  If installed on vehicle, pull wiper arm (Figure 1, Item 3) away from windshield (Figure 1, Item 7) to locked
position.
2.  Remove bolt (Figure 1, Item 4) and nut (Figure 1, Item 5) securing blade assembly (Figure 1, Item 6) to
wiper arm (Figure 1, Item 3) and remove blade assembly.
Wiper Arm
1.  Remove nut (Figure 1, Item 1) and washer (Figure 1, Item 2) from end of wiper arm (Figure 1, Item 3).
CAUTION
Splined adapter must be retained for reinstallation or replacement of wiper arm.
2.
Remove wiper arm (Figure 1, Item 3) and splined adapter (Figure 1, Item 9) from drive shaft (Figure 1, Item
8).
