PRELIMINARY SERVICING OF EQUIPMENT
PUMP ASSEMBLY
1.
Install the pump assembly (WP 0002 00, Figure 1, Item 13) on the foot assembly (WP 0002 00, Figure 1, Item
12) and secure with the clamp assembly (WP 0002 00, Figure 1, Item 14).
2.
Remove the plug (WP 0004 00, Figure 1, Item 2) from the top of the pump assembly. Fill with (OH) Hydraulic
Fluid, Petroleum Base within 1 inch of the ller hole.
CYLINDER AND RAM ASSEMBLY
NOTE
On used equipment pay particular attention to lling the cylinder and ram assembly with (OH)
Hydraulic Fluid, Petroleum Base.
1.
Lay the jack on its side so the inlet opening at the bottom of the cylinder and ram assembly (WP 0002 00,
Figure 1, Item 5) is up. Pour (OH) Hydraulic Fluid, Petroleum Base into the opening, expelling all air from the
cylinder.
2.
Attach the hose assembly (WP 0015 00, Figure 1, Item 6) to the pump assembly. With the free end of the
hose held above the attached end, actuate the pump to ll the hose with (OH) Hydraulic Fluid, Petroleum
Base. Attach the hose to the cylinder and ram assembly.
