UNUSUAL ENVIRONMENT/WEATHER
OPERATION IN DUSTY OR SANDY AREAS

Lubricate the jack in accordance with lubrication instructions contained in WP 0013 00, WP 0014 00, and
WP 0015 00. Keep lubricant containers clean and covered to prevent contamination.
Protect the jack from dust and sand as much as possible. Clean jack frequently and cover jack with tarpaulin

when not in use.
OPERATION UNDER HUMID CONDITIONS

Clean all exposed areas frequently and apply a thin lm of Lubricating Oil, General Purpose to all exposed
metal surfaces.
Open the air vent only when required for operation, minimizing moisture contamination of the hydraulic oil.

Keep the hose dry to prevent rot and deterioration.
OPERATION IN SALT WATER AREAS
Protect all exposed metal surfaces from the corrosive action of salt air with a thin lm of Lubricating Oil,

General Purpose.

Retouch or repaint the jack with Paint as required to protect painted areas from corrosion.
3.
Keep the jack covered with a tarpaulin when not in use.
