TM 1-1270-476-30 6-16 6-4. BRAKE RELEASE POWER SUPPLY ASSEMBLY REPAIR (cont) 2. BATTERIES BT1 AND BT2 RECHARGING TEST a. Press TEST switch (1). If test lamp (2) illuminates, even dimly, test is complete and batteries are charged. b. If TEST lamp (2) does not illuminate, charge batteries. CHARGE c. Adjust current limit of DC power supply to 250 ± 25 mA. d. Adjust output voltage of DC power supply to 30.0 ± 0.3 vdc. e. Connect positive (+) output of DC power supply to J2 (3). f. Connect negative (-) output of DC power supply to J3 (4). g. Allow batteries to charge at least 3 hours. TEST lamp (2) will illuminate with intensity proportional to charging current. As battery becomes charged, the intensity of TEST lamp (2) will diminish. h. Press TEST switch (1). If TEST lamp (2) illuminates, charging is complete. Disconnect DC power supply from J2 (3) and J3 (4). i. Repeat step a. END OF TASK
