4-45. LASER ELECTRONICS UNIT (LEU) HARNESS ASSEMBLY W1 REPAIR (cont)
INSTALLATION
NOTE
Observe polarity of diode.
e. Install two wires (1) and CR1 leads (4) in
two new contacts (2). Crimp and install
contacts (2) In relay socket XK1 (4 above).
f. Have installation inspected.
g. Install LEU harness assembly W1 (1
above).
END OF TASK
10. TERMINAL LUG E1 REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL
a. Remove LEU harness assembly W1 (1
above).
b. Remove terminal lug E1 (1) from filter bank
(2) by removing screw (3), washers (4), and
nut (5).
INSTALLATION
c. Remove old sealing, locking, and retaining
compound from hardware (para 2-6).
d. Apply sealing, locking, and retaining
compound to hardware (para 2-6).
e. Replace terminal lug E1 (para 2-5).
f. Install terminal lug E1 (1) to filter bank (2)
with screw (3), washers (4), and nut (5).
g. Have installation inspected.
h. Install LEU harness assembly W1 (1
above).
