4-45. LASER ELECTRONICS UNIT (LEU) HARNESS ASSEMBLY W1 REPAIR (cont)
h. Apply sealing, locking, and retaining
compound to threads of new connector (6)
and nut (4).
i. Install new connector J1 (6) to filter bank (7)
using retaining ring (5) and nut (4).
j. Install cap (2).
k. Install removed filters (1) (table 1 and step
8 below).
l. Install wiring harness W1 (1 above).
m. Have installation inspected.

3. CONNECTOR P1, P2, P3, OR P4
REPLACEMENT
NOTE
This procedure is for replacing connector P1
and can also be used for connector P2, P3, or
P4.
REMOVAL
a. Remove LEU harness assembly W1 (1
above).
b. Remove damaged connector P1 (1) (para
2-5).
INSTALLATION
c. Install new connector P1 (1) (para 2-5).
d. Install LEU wiring harness W1 (1 above).
e. Have installation Inspected.
