4-38. HARNESS ASSEMBLY REPAIR (cont)
7. CONNECTOR J6 REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL
a. Remove CCA A14 (para 4-37).
b. Disconnect connector P6 (1) from
connector J6 (2) by loosening two
screwlocks (3).
c. Remove bracket with connector J6 (2) from
chassis assembly by removing two screws
(4) and washers (5).
d. Remove connector J6 (2) from bracket by
removing two nuts (6), lockwashers (7), and
washers (8).
e. Remove connector J6 (2) from wiring
harness (para 2-5).
INSTALLATION
f. Install connector J6 (2) on wiring harness
(para 2-5).
g. Install connector J6 (2) on bracket using
two washers (8), lockwashers (7), and nuts
(6).
h. Install connector J6 (2) in chassis assembly
using two screws (4) and washers (5).
i. Connect connector P6 (1) to connector J6
(2) and tighten two screwlocks (3).
j. Install CCA A14 (para 4-37).
