4-34. LEFT AND RIGHT HANDGRIP (LHG, RHG) ASSEMBLIES 2A4 AND 2A5 REPAIR (cont)
4. LHG CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMBLY (CCA)
REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL
a. Tag and unsolder wires (1) from CCA.
b. Remove LHG CCA (2) from wire bundle by
removing four screws (3), cutting two
tiedown straps (4), and pulling wires (1)
through hole in CCA.
INSTALLATION
c. Remove old sealing, locking and retaining
compound from mounting hardware (para
2-6).
d. Apply sealing, locking, and retaining
compound from mounting hardware (para
2-6).
NOTE
Do not tighten tiedown straps. Straps will be
tighten in a later step.
e. Insert wires (1) through hole in CCA, insert
two tiedown straps (4), and install CCA (2)
using four screws (3).
f. Solder wires (1) to CCA and remove tags.
g. Have installation inspected.
h. Tighten and secure tiedown straps (4).
