d. Solder wires (6) to switch and remove tags.
e. Have solder joints inspected.
f. Remove old sealing, locking, and retaining
compound from trigger and trigger guard
pin threads (para 2-6).
g. Apply sealing, locking, and retaining
compound to trigger and trigger guard pin
threads (para 2-6).
h. Install trigger switch (5) and trigger pin (4).
WARNING
EYE HAZARD
• Flying object can cause eye damage.
• When removing trigger guard, safety
goggles shall be worn and hand shall be
placed over spring to prevent spring travel.
• If eye damage occurs, medical help shall be
obtained at once.
i. Install trigger guard (3), trigger guard pin
(1), and spring (2).
j. Adjust setscrew (7) until trigger guard (3)
just clears trigger switch.
