g. Apply sealing, locking, and retaining
compound to setscrew (5) (para 2-6).
CAUTION
Ensure flat edges of shaft are properly alined
on handgrip. Improper alinement can cause
turret to slew in wrong direction.
h. Aline transducer TM1 so that the flat edges
(11) of the shaft are pointing up (to the top
edges of the handgrip) and to the right
(parallel to the top edge of the handgrip).
i. Secure transducer TM1 (6) using setscrew
(5).
j. Install knob (9) and tighten two setscrews
(8).
k. Apply sealing, locking, and retaining
compound to screws (4) (para 2-6).
NOTE
Do not tighten tiedown straps. Straps will be
tightened in a later step.
l. Insert wire bundle through hole in CCA,
insert tiedown straps (3) and install CCA (2)
using four screws (4).
m. Solder wires (1) to CCA and remove tags.
n. Have installation Inspected.
o. Tighten and secure tiedown straps (3).
