4-29. CONTROL PANEL ASSEMBLY 2A1 REPAIR (cont)
4. SWITCH S1, S2, OR S11 REPLACEMENT
NOTE
This procedure is for replacing switch S1 (9)
and can also be used for replacing switch S2
(10) or S11 (11).
REMOVAL
a. Remove HOD assembly (1 above).
b. Remove knob assemblies (1) by loosening
setscrews securing knobs to shafts of
resistor R1 (2) and resistor R2 (3).
NOTE
Illuminated panel assembly A1 wires are black.
c. Cut lacing and tying tape securing
illuminated panel assembly A1 lead wires to
internal wire bundle.
d. Remove illuminated panel A1 (4) by
removing two mounting screws (5),
washers (6), and lifting panel from control
panel assembly housing (7).
e. Pull panel wires (8) far enough through
housing to lay illuminated panel assembly
A1 (4) aside.
