4-29. CONTROL PANEL ASSEMBLY 2A1 REPAIR (cont)
NOTE
Switches S1, S2, and S11 are mounted with
modified jamnuts and modified keyway
washers. This hardware must be retained for
use with replacement switches.
f. Remove switch S1 (9) by removing jamnut
(12), lockwasher (13), and modified keyway
washer (14).
g. Cut lacing and tying tape (15) as necessary
to provide enough wire slack for component
replacement.
h. Tag and unsolder wires (16).
INSTALLATION
i. Solder wires (16) to switch S1 (9) and
remove tags.
j. Install switch S1 (9) with modified keyway
washer (14), lockwasher (13), and modified
jamnut (12). Ensure that modified keyway
washer seats in notch on control panel
housing (7).
k. Feed panel wires (8) into housing and
install illuminated panel assembly A1 (4)
with two screws (5) and washers (6).
l. Install knob assemblies (1) on shafts of
resistor R1 (2) and resistor R2 (3) and
tighten setscrews.
m. Route wires along wire bundle and install
lacing and tying tape as required to secure
wire bundle.
n. Have installation inspected.
o. Install HOD assembly (1 above).
