4-29. CONTROL PANEL ASSEMBLY 2A1 REPAIR (cont)
NOTE
Prior to installing resistor R6, resistor R3 has
to be installed and alined.
h. Position resistor R3 (2) in mounting bracket
and attach lockwasher (6) and nut (5). DO
not tighten nut. Leave enough slack to
maneuver thumbwheel (4) into position on
shaft.
i. Install thumbwheel (4) on resistor shaft.
Ensure that resistor locating pin seats in
notch on mounting bracket. Tighten nut (5)
to secure resistor in position. Do not tighten
thumbwheel setscrews (1).
j. Perform resistor alinement (12 below).
k. Repeat steps h thru j for resistor R6 (3).
