NOTE
If replacing CCA A20 (4), A21 (15), or A22
(16), perform step f; otherwise, go to step g.
f. Install insulator plates (19) between CCAs
A20 (4), and A21 (15) or A21 (15) and A22
(16).
CAUTION
Do not try to bend flexible printed cable
unless heated. Do not overheat. Too much
heat will damage printed cable.
Flexible printed cable assemblies are easily
damaged if handled roughly. Use care when
connecting/disconnecting connectors and
moving cable assemblies in any way.
NOTE
A heat source of approximately 200°F is best
to make cable soft and bend easily. Holding
heat gun approximately 5 inches away from
the point you want to heat will usually apply
about 200°F.
g. Starting with replacement CCA, do the
following for each CCA up to and including
CCA A20 (4).
(1) Heat and carefully move flexible printed
cable assembly to its original position.
(2) Connect connector (6).
(3) Tighten two screwlocks (5).
h. Have installation inspected.
