15. CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMBLY (CCA) A12
THRU A22, A26, AND A27 REPLACEMENT
CAUTION
These CCAs contain electrostatic discharge
sensitive devices (ESDS). Refer to paragraph
2-8 for handling requirements before starting
this task, to prevent damage to the devices.
REMOVAL
a. Remove postamplifier cover (1) by
removing four screws (2) and washers (3).
CAUTION
Flexible printed cable assemblies are easily
damaged if handled roughly. Use care when
connecting/disconnecting connectors and
moving cable assemblies in any way.
NOTE
• Flexible printed cables are stacked in
postamplifier. One or more cables may have
to be removed to access the lower ones in
each amplifier.
• Insulator plates (19) are located between
CCAs A20 (4), A21 (15), and A22 (16).
• If replacing CCA A21 (15), A22 (16), A26
(17), or A27 (18), go to step d; otherwise, go
to step b.
