17. CAPACITOR ASSEMBLY A41 C1 THRU C4
REPLACEMENT
WARNING
Before performing maintenance/repair,
discharge all high-voltage capacitors (para
2-4).
REMOVAL
a. Remove screw (1) and disconnect
connector A42P1 (2) from connector A41J1
(3) on capacitor assembly (4).
b. Remove screw (5) and disconnect
connectors W10P17 (6) from A41J3 (7) and
W10P15 (8) from A41J2 (9) on capacitor
assembly (4).
c. Remove capacitor assembly (4) by
removing two socket head capscrews (10)
and washers (11).
INSTALLATION
d. Remove old corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound from mounting hardware
(para 2-6).
e. Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to mounting hardware
(para 2-6).
f. Install capacitor assembly (4) using two
socket head capscrews (10) and washers
(11).
g. Connect connectors W10P15 (8) to A41J2
(9) and W10P17 (6) to A41J3 (7) on
capacitor assembly (4) using screw (5).
h. Connect connector A42P1 (2) to connector
A41J1 (3) on capacitor assembly (4) using
screw (1).
