CREW PROTECTION SYSTEM (CPS) ACCESSORIES TROUBLESHOOTING - (CONTINUED)
BRANCH 1.

Check 10 amp Heat fuse in fuse box on passenger side of instrument panel.
CONDITION/INDICATION
Is fuse serviceable?
DECISION
YES Proceed to Step 2.
NO Replace fuse.
BRANCH 2.

Place ignition switch to "Run" position, turn fan speed knob to 'LOW', and check for power at heater assy.
CONDITION/INDICATION
Is there 12 volts power at heater assy?
DECISION
YES Replace heater assy (WP 0104).
NO Proceed to Step 3.
BRANCH 3.
3.
Open CPS dash (WP 0098) and check wiring for condition and continuity.
CONDITION/INDICATION
Wiring serviceable and continuity check good?
DECISION
YES Replace switch (WP 0098).
NO Repair/replace defective wiring or connectors (WP 0112).
TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE
HEATER FAN OPERATES, NO HEAT
BRANCH 1.

Check coolant level (WP 0053).
CONDITION/INDICATION
Is coolant level low?
DECISION
YES Service cooling system (WP 0053).
NO Proceed to Step 2.
