CONDITION/INDICATION
Are rear axle universal joints loose or damaged?
DECISION
YES Replace worn or damaged universal joints (WP 0079).
NO Proceed to Step 4.
BRANCH 4.

Check rear axle mounting bolts for security and or damage (WP 0075).
CONDITION/INDICATION
Are rear axles U-Bolts secure and not damaged?
DECISION
YES Proceed to Step 5.
NO Secure or replace damaged rear axle mount bolts (WP 0075).
BRANCH 5.

Inspect rear axle leaf springs for loose, broken, or damaged springs (WP 0094).
CONDITION/INDICATION
Are rear axle springs loose, broken or damaged?
DECISION
YES Replace or secure rear axle springs (WP 0094).
NO Proceed to Step 6.
MALFUNCTION - BRANCH 6.
MALFUNCTION - Rear axle springs are not loose, broken or damaged.
ACTION
6.  Replace rear axle assembly (WP 0075).
