Compress spring (Figure 2, Item 7) and remove retaining ring (Figure 2, Item 6).

Remove leg (Figure 2, Item 8) and spring (Figure 2, Item 7) from shaft (Figure 2, Item 5).

Remove nut (Figure 2, Item 4), washers (Figure 2, Item 3), and bolts (Figure 2, Item 2); separate shaft from
caster (Figure 2, Item 1).
6.
Do not remove lubrication itting (Figure 2, Item 9) unless replacement is necessary.
CLEANING
WARNING
Item Degreasing Solvent, MIL-PRF-680 is combustible and toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory
tract. Wear protective gloves and goggles/face shield. Avoid repeated or prolonged contact.
Use only in well-ventilated areas (or use approved respirator as determined by local safety/in-
dustrial hygiene personnel). Keep away from open lames or other sources of ignition.
1.
Wash all parts except casters in Item Degreasing Solvent, MIL-PRF-680, and dry thoroughly.
2.
Blow out passages with compressed air.
