DISASSEMBLY
Remove the cotter pin (Figure 1, Item 3), nuts (Figure 1, Item 4) and washer (Figure 1, Item 5) that secure the

caster mount (Figure 1, Item 7) to the welded foot assembly (Figure 1, Item 2) and remove the mount with
attached caster (Figure 1, Item 11) and spring (Figure 1, Item 6) from the foot assembly.
Remove the four nuts (Figure 1, Item 8), four washers (Figure 1, Item 9) and four bolts (Figure 1, Item 10) that

secure the caster to the mount and remove the caster.
Disassemble the cast foot assembly by removing the four nuts, lockwashers and bolts that secure the foot

(Figure 1, Item 12) to the housing.
CLEANING
WARNING
DEGREASING SOLVENT, MIL-PRF-680
Degreasing solvent, MIL-PRF-680, is combustible and toxic to eyes, skin and respiratory tract.
Wear protective gloves and goggles/face shield. Avoid repeated or prolonged contact. Use
only in well ventilated areas (or use approved respirator as determined by local safety/industrial
hygiene personnel). Keep away from open ames or other sources of ignition.
Clean all parts with Cleaning Solvent and dry thoroughly.
ASSEMBLY
1.
Position the housing (Figure 1, Item 13) on the foot (Figure 1, Item 12) and secure with four bolts, lock washer
and nuts.
2.
Secure the caster (Figure 1, Item 11) to the caster mount (Figure 1, Item 7) with the four bolts (Figure 1, Item
10), four washers (Figure 1, Item 9) and four nuts (Figure 1, Item 8).
3.
Lubricate the caster and stem of the caster mount monthly with Lubricating Oil, General Purpose. Place the
spring (Figure 1, Item 6) and the caster mount with attached caster in the welded foot assembly (Figure 1,
Item 2) and install the washer (Figure 1, Item 5), nut (Figure 1, Item 4) and cotter pin (Figure 1, Item 3).
TEST AND INSPECTION
Inspect all parts for damage and corrosion. Check the casters to determine they rotate and swivel freely. Replace
all defective parts retouch or repaint damaged painted surfaces as required Paint .
INSTALLATION
Push the foot assemblies on the leg extensions and secure with the bolts (Figure 1, Item 14) and nuts (Figure 1,
Item 1).
