CLEANING SOLVENT MIL-PRF-680
Is combustible and toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Wear protective gloves and
goggles/face shield. Avoid repeated or prolonged contact. Use only in well ventilated areas
(or use approved respirator as determined by local safety/industrial hygiene personnel). Keep
away from open ames or other sources of ignition.
Wash all parts in an approved Cleaning Compound, Solvent.
TEST AND INSPECTION
Inspect all parts of the hitch and towtube assemblies for cracks and dents. Straighten any dents and weld any
breaks.
INSTALLATION
1.
Position the platform tow assembly (Figure 1, Item 11) on the bracket at the uid reservoir and secure with a
bolt (Figure 1, Item 12), nut (Figure 1, Item 14) and washer (Figure 1, Item 13).
2.
Position the platform tow assembly (Figure 1, Item 11) on the bracket under the bottom step and secure with
two bolts (Figure 1, Item 15), washer (Figure 1, Item 16) and nuts (Figure 1, Item 17).
3.
Slide the hinged bar (Figure 1, Item 10) into the towtube and secure with a bolt (Figure 1, Item 2), washer
(Figure 1, Item 3) and nut (Figure 1, Item 4).
