2. CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMBLY (CCA) A2 THRU
A12 REPLACEMENT
CAUTION
These CCAS contain electrostatic discharge
sensitive (ESDS) devices. Refer to paragraph
2-8 for handling requirements before starting
this task, to prevent damage to the devices.
NOTE
This procedure can be used to replace CCA
A2 thru A12.

CCA A8 (11)
CCA A3 (6)
CCA A9 (12)
CCA A4 (7)
CCA A10 (13)
CCA A5 (8)
CCA A11 (14)
CCA A6 (9)
CCA A12 (15)
CCA A7 (10)
REMOVAL
a. Remove cover (1 above).
b. Remove shear plate assembly (1) by
removing 10 screws (2) and washers (3).
c. Remove faulty CCA using card extractor.
INSTALLATION
NOTE
If you are replacing CCA A2 (5), do step d;
otherwise, go to step e.
d. Remove and discard plastic card extractor
and attaching pin from replacement CCA
A2.
e. Install CCA.
f. Install shear plate assembly (1) and secure
with 10 screws (2) and washers (3).
g. Install cover (1 above).
