INSTALLATION
h. Remove old epoxy from chassis (para 2-6).
i.
Apply epoxy to replacement capacitor (para
2-6).
j.
Install capacitor on chassis.
k. Install insulation tubing on capacitor leads.
l.
Solder capacitor leads.
m. Have installation inspected.
n. Install shield assembly (6) using two screws
(7), one loop clamp (10), two washers (9),
and two locknuts (8).
o. Remove old corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound from mounting hardware
(para 2-6).
p. Prepare front panel (3) mounting bracket
(5) area for electrical bonding (para 2-7).
q. Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to mounting hardware
(para 2-6). Use class 1A application.
