g. Feed wires (2) through hole in shroud
assembly (6). Press anti-ice heaters HR4
(4) and HR5 (5) into place, Be sure to work
out all trapped air.
h. Seal wires (2) to exterior shroud surface
with noncorrosive RTV silicone adhesive
sealant (para 2-6).
i. Seal hole in shroud with noncorrosive RTV
silicone adhesive sealant (para 2-6).
CAUTION
When applying heat to heat shrinkable
insulation sleeving, take care to avoid
damaging other components with excessive
heat.
j. Cut heaters wire (2) to correct length.
Splice heater wires to shroud wires using
hot air shrinkable conductor splice (3) (item
49 and 50). Use (item 50) to splice three or
more wires. Remove tags.
k. Have installation inspected.
l. Install lacing and tying tape (1) as required.
