4-26. NIGHT SENSOR SHROUD ASSEMBLY REPAIR (cont)
INSTALLATION
e. Remove old liquid adhesive from shroud
assembly (5) (para 2-6).
f. Apply liquid adhesive to thermostatic switch
S1 (4) and shroud assembly (5) (para 2-6).
g. Install thermostatic switch (S4) on shroud
assembly (5). Tape thermostatic switch S1
(4) in place. Leave taped until liquid
adhesive is cured, then remove tape.
h. Slide new heat shrinkable insulation
sleeving (2) onto wires (3).
i. Solder wires (3) to thermostatic switch S1
(4) and remove tags.
j. Have installation inspected.
k. Shrink heat shrinkable insulation sleeving
(2) over solder joints.
CAUTION
When applying heat to heat shrinkable
insulation sleeving, take care to avoid
damaging other components with excessive
heat.
l. Install lacing and tying tape (1) on wiring as
required.
