6. VIDEO PROCESSOR UNIT REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL
a. Remove light baffle (1 above) or visual
imager (2 above).
b. Remove light shield (3 above).
c. Remove electro-optical sensor (4above).
d. Remove adjustment bracket and flat spring
(5 above).
NOTE
The day sensor solid state camera captive
screws are part of the mounting plate attached
to the video processor unit. The night sensor
solid state camera captive screws are attached
directly to the video processor unit.
e. Remove four retainer nuts (1) and four
captive screws (2) or remove four screws
(3) and mounting plate (4).
INSTALLATION
f. Remove old sealing, locking, and retaining
compound from captive screws and
retainer nuts (para 2-6).
g. Apply sealing, locking, and retaining
compound primer and sealing, locking, and
retaining compound to mating threads of
captive screws and retainer nuts (para 2-6).
h. Install four captive screws (2) and retainer
nuts (1) or install mounting plate (4) and
secure using four screws (3).
i. Install adjustment bracket and flat spring (5
above).
j. Install electro-optical sensor (4 above).
k. Install light shield (3 above).
l. Install light baffle (1 above) or visual imager
(2 above).
