MULTIPLEXER ASSEMBLY REPAIR (cont)
1. LIGHT BAFFLE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL
a. Remove light baffle (1) from mounting plate
assembly (2) by removing two screws (3).
INSTALLATION
b. Remove old corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound from mounting hardware
(para 2-6).
c. Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to mounting hardware
(para 2-6). Use class 1A application.
d. Install light baffle (1) on mounting plate
assembly (2) and secure using two screws
(3).
e. Inspect light baffle installation for
completeness and physical integrity.
END OF TASK
2. VISUAL IMAGER ASSEMBLY
REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL
a. Remove visual imager (4) by removing two
screws (2) with flat washers (3) and screw
(1).
INSTALLATION
b. Remove old corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound from mounting hardware
(para 2-6).
c. Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to mounting hardware
(para 2-6). Use class 1A application.
