4-2. TADS TURRET ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT (cont)
13. Perform TADS/PNVS LRU exchange.
a. Connect brake release power supply
assembly (60) to each turret assembly.
NOTE
This procedure is for connecting brake release
power supply assembly to the replacement
turret assembly and the defective turret
assembly.
(1) Verify that brake release power supply
assembly POWER switch (61) is set to
OFF.
(2) Press TEST switch (62) and observe
the TEST light (63) is lit. If the TEST
light (63) does not light, replace
batteries (para 6-4).
(3) Connect connector P3 (64) of cable
assembly (65) to connector J1 (66) on
brake release power supply assembly
(60).
(4) Connect connector P1 (67) of cable
assembly (65) to connector J4 (68) on
rear of turret assembly (69).
(5) Connect connector P2 (70) of cable
assembly (65) to connector J1 (71) on
rear of turret assembly (69).
(6) Set POWER switch (61) to ON.
(7) Set MODE switch (72) to TADS or to
PNVS according to need.
